3rd annual ‘Battle in the Burbs’ returning to Jackson soon
JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Juniorettes wish to invite all of Jackson to come out and enjoy the 3rd annual ‘Battle in the Burbs’ lighting contest!

Defending champions Wyndchase will defend their title against the new contender, Wrights Mill, this year on December 14. Santa and the Hot Cocoa Cove will be located on Pemberton Cove in Wyndchase. Proceeds from donations and cocoa sales will benefit the STAR Center of Jackson.

Winners receive cash prizes.
“The fan favorite will receive $250 and then the best in show Juniorettes favorite will receive two hundred and fifty dollars,” said Kiley Clagg, founder of the Jackson Juniorettes.
The Jackson Juniorettes is a service league for young women, grades 9th through 12th, from Jackson area high schools. Last year’s membership class of 2023-24 served more than 1,700 hours in fundraising and service projects. For more information on this upcoming event, click here.
