Beech Bluff Rec Center hosts a ‘Winter Wonderland’

BEECH BLUFF, Tenn.—One local community celebrates the season with some holiday fun.

The Beech Bluff Community Center hosted its ‘Winter Wonderland’ shopping event, with a day filled with holiday activities.

The event kicked off at ten Saturday morning and continued until 6 in the afternoon at 4488 Beech Bluff Road.

The market included a silent auction, scavenger hunt, games, crafts and even a gift wrapping station with help from some very special elves.

Several vendors  were on site selling items like custom clothing and jewelry, toys, handmade candles, books, holiday decor and more.

Guests could even grab a bite of delicious foods or drinks like pancakes, designer coffees, smash burgers, or egg rolls.

The day was set to end with a special parade to finish out the festivities.

“We’re at the Winter Wonderland Christmas event with all sorts of good events going on. We have vendors. We just did the pancake breakfast. We did an ornament scavenger hunt. This is the kids Christmas Store everything’s a dollar. We’ve got people behind me wrapping presents,” said Lisa Lovelace, Coordinator for the Beech Bluff Recreation Center.

The center wanted to host this event to support the community and local businesses within the area.
