Church presents over 100 gift baskets to Madison Co. Sheriff’s Office

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — One community took time to thank their local sheriff’s office in a festive way.

Members of Antioch Baptist Church presented the Madison County Sheriff’s Office staff with gift baskets ahead of Christmas. The baskets come from Giant Foods in Medina and around 118 baskets were given away.

“We really appreciate the sheriff’s department — how they look after the county churches. If you’re a county church, your first line of defense is the sheriff’s department and they’ve done an excellent job the last several years,” said  Jimmy Joyner, member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Joyner shares that this is the least they can do to show their appreciation.
