IHOP of Jackson welcomes community members for Christmas day breakfast
JACKSON, Tenn. — One local restaurant opens its doors for families and loved ones to enjoy on Christmas day.
“The meal was outstanding and service was excellent. I enjoyed the meal immensely. Our server was the best server in town. Thank you,” said one customer.
Every year the IHOP of Jackson opens its doors for residents to enjoy a warm meal on Christmas day.
“A lot of people do family meals like family breakfast on Christmas so you know, sometimes you can’t always cook, so it’s nice to just come down and get some good food,” said Ron, customer.
For most families it is tradition to enjoy a breakfast meal before opening those gifts.
“Christmas morning we come every year, except for a couple of years they were closed. It’s been really fun,” said Melissa, customer.
For one family this has helped them build strong bonds with the IHOP staff.
“It’s a nice pastime for us. We like to cultivate and come here every Christmas. It’s really the only thing open most of the time, but that also builds a strong bond. It’s just the repetition of coming here,” said Rhaema, customer.
For those who work this holiday, General Manager Whitney Smith says this is something she and her team enjoys.
“We love it, we love serving the community. I think this year its just us and maybe Waffle House that’s open. So we’ve been extremely busy. We’ve got a lot of families — a lot of parties, but we are enjoying it we are,” said Smith.
One family leaves with something to say.
“I hope everyone watching this has a merry Christmas,” said Natalee, customer.
The team at IHOP invites members of the community to enjoy not only Christmas, but the rest of the year with them.
