Update on flooding, street conditions in Dyersburg
DYERSBURG, Tenn. – We have continuing team coverage of the recent flooding in one local community.

The National Weather Service says at 7 p.m., the Forked Deer River at Dyersburg was 24.4 feet, which is down about a foot from Wednesday’s reading.
Here’s an update on some of the flooding in south Dyersburg.
According to a post on the city of Dyersburg’s Facebook page, the river is continuing to fall, however, these streets remain blocked in south Dyersburg:
- Horner Road
- Brooks Avenue
- Brown Street
- Atkins Street
- Davis Road
- Forshee Street
- Laird Street
- Samaria Bend Road
- Wilson Drive
- South Main (from Christie Street to Highway 51 Bypass)
Dyersburg city leaders remind residents to not drive through flooded roadways, stay alert with weather updates and that that an evacuation has not been issued. Officials say the river is expected to fall below flood stage to 20 feet on Tuesday evening, February 25.
