Apple unveils new ‘low-cost’ iPhone 16e

JACKSON, Tenn. — Apple’s iPhone 16e hit the shelves Friday with new features in Apple intelligence, display, camera, and particularly with battery life.

The iPhone 16e provides up to 26 hours of video playback with a 6.1-inch display, that provides vibrant visuals and improved contrast.

It also gives users a 48-megapixel fusion camera that has the ability to capture high-quality photos and videos.

“It completes the iPhone 16 family as this powerful and affordable option. It features our latest generation a18 chip which delivers fast, smooth performance, Apple intelligence and it’s incredibly power efficient. So, you are going to get incredible all-day battery; the longest battery life of our 6.1-inch models,” said Francesca Sweet, Director of Product Marketing, and Jahmyra Austin, Programming Lead.

The 16e is built for Apple intelligence and provides users the ability to customize emojis as well as photo editing capabilities. It’s currently retailing starting at $599 on Apple’s official website.
