Fleet Feet host its 2nd annual St. Patrick’s Day 5k

JACKSON, Tenn.—Runners come together to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.

Fleet Feet in Jackson hosts its 2nd annual St. Patrick’s Day 5k Sunday afternoon.

The fun run offers runners the opportunity to dress in green and hit the pavement.

Walkers were also welcome to take part in the event, which kicked off at the store located at 398 Oil Well Road.

Participants began their route along Foxworth Drive, onto Brooksie Drive, and continued full circle making their way back to the finish line.

“You can check out fleetfeet.com and go to our race calendar and that’s going to show you everything about different events and races we have. But, we meet here every Sunday morning at 6am to do a community run here and that’s completely free,” said Fonta Burnett, Outfitter and Team Lead for Fleet Feet Jackson.

Fleet Feet’s next event is the Zeta Run for a Cure on March 22.
