Love and Truth gives back with its ‘Reach’ service

JACKSON, Tenn.—One local church offers a Sunday service filled with giving back to the community.

Love and Truth Church in Jackson hosts its ‘Reach’ services Sunday.

‘Reach’ offers not only a spiritual message but the presentation of funds to benefit local organizations and the important work they do.

During the day’s program, checks were presented across three services. Those donations will benefit local organizations.

Love and Truth presented $10,000 to JPD to help support its K9 program in purchasing a new K9.

Lincoln Elementary School, their Pie Partner, received $10,000 for resources to benefit both students and staff.

“With this donation, it will help us with incentive for our students and teachers. It helps to get parents more involved in the school, and the activities of the school,” said Mandy Gibson, Teacher, 5th grade at Lincoln Elementary School.

The church also presented $10,000 to RIFA to benefit its continued support of the homeless and hungry populations.

Love and Truth is committed to serving the local community and plans to continue those efforts with its upcoming ‘Serve’ program.

Members of the congregation and volunteers will visit various locations and offer hands-on services to the community.

‘Serve’ will take place on Saturday, March 29.
