Cypress Grove Nature Park closes until further notice due to flooding

JACKSON, Tenn. — Recent flooding in the Hub City has prompted one park to temporarily close.

Cypress Grove Nature Park in west Jackson is closing until further notice as the South Fork of the Forked Deer River has spilled its banks.

The recent flooding was caused by rain upstream that doppler radar estimates as much as seven inches in Chester County.

So far, there is no word on any damages to the park from the flooding.
