Henderson City hall hosts free overdose prevention training session

HENDERSON, Tenn. — One group is holding a special training to help save lives.

Tuesday is National Fentanyl Awareness Day and a free overdose prevention training was held this evening at Henderson City Hall.

The speaker of the event, Mark Mason, spoke on how to use naloxone, among other tools that can help in times of emergency.

Other speakers included members of the Chester County Sheriff’s Department, and a member of the 26th judicial drug task force.

There are Narcan kits available through the Jackson-Madison prevention coalition.
