Previously convicted felon arrested in Drug Task Force bust
PRESS RELEASE FROM THE WEST TENNESSEE DRUG TASK FORCE - 28TH, 29TH, 30TH DISTRICTS:
On 6/4/25, Agents out of the 29th District in Dyer County served a narcotics search warrant pursuant to a drug investigation in the 2500 block of Welch Road.
During the search, Agents discovered nearly 1/4 pound of crack cocaine, liquid codeine, a loaded handgun, nearly 1/2 pound of marijuana and a shoe box containing $5,546.00 in cash.
One previously convicted male felon was taken into custody without incident and charged with numerous drug and weapon felonies.
This case is being prosecuted by the District Attorney General, 29th Judicial District, Danny Goodman, Jr.
Agents were assisted by Dyer County Sheriff’s Office, Obion County Sheriff’s Office K-9 and Jackson Police SWAT.
