Community resources available during back-to-school bash in Crockett County
ALAMO, Tenn. — One local middle school hosts a back-to-school bash.
The event was held at the Crockett County Middle School from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in a come-and-go style. The event was sponsored by Coordinated School Health and Crockett County Health Council. The school supplies were provided by Hitachi.
“Today was all about helping our community members learn about the resources available to them, to help them to get involved in the community. Every few years we try to have a big back-to-school bash and get kids, and parents and grandparents–everybody ready,” said Sarah Poole, county director for UT Extension at Crockett County.
The event had vendor booths, community resources, and more.
