Liberty Tech celebrates historic 45-13 win, prepares for next game
JACKSON, Tenn. — Last Friday, Liberty Tech defeated Innovation Academy 45 to 13. This is their first victory since 2019.
To celebrate the big win, all the players walked through the hallways in their jerseys. They also had the Crusaders Cheer Squad and Liberty Tech Band parade down the hallways to show their support for the team.
Robert Gillard, Liberty Tech’s head football coach, says he’s excited about the win, but that there is still work to do if they are to keep up the momentum.
“I feel really good, but as a coach you can always find something that we can do better. We have some games that we still have to work on, but it was a good coming out to party for our players and we want to continue to win,” said .
Liberty Tech will hit the road this Friday to face off against Bluff City High School.
