Police arrest man accused of sending inappropriate material to child
Parsons Police Department – Official Statement
On November 18, 2025, officers received a call involving allegations that a male, identified as David Mark Walker, had been sending inappropriate and unlawful material to an underage child. The City Investigator was immediately notified and responded to the scene. Deputies and investigators with the Decatur County Sheriff’s Department also assisted, and we sincerely appreciate their support and partnership.

Walker was taken into custody for TCA §39-13-528 – Solicitation of a Minor and is currently being held on a $500,000 bond.
Search warrants were obtained for multiple electronic devices, all of which have been submitted to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for forensic extraction and analysis. Additional charges are anticipated as the investigation progresses.
Crimes against children are among the most serious offenses, and these acts will never be tolerated in the City of Parsons. Our children deserve safety, protection, and justice at all times. We care deeply about the well-being of every citizen in our community.
