Nelson Mortgage Co. kicks off new chapter with ribbon cutting ceremony

MILAN, Tenn. — Local business owners in Milan celebrates the grand opening of Nelson Mortgage Company.

Cody Nelson, owner of Nelson Mortgage Company, says he had a background in finance for a scrap metal business that was sold at the end of 2024.

Nelson says he wanted to put his skills to good use to help the community, and help residents prosper.

For now Nelson Mortgage Company only accepts applications for residential buildings, but plans to expand into commercial mortgage in the future.

“Today is good. It’s warm to see the community to support a local business going up. So it was encouraging to see everybody here today,” said Nelson.
