Dyer County Sheriff’s Office Announces Arrest in Case of Missing Juveniles
DYER COUNTY, TN – [December 16, 2025] – Sheriff Jeff Box reports that after conducting an investigation, two missing juveniles had been staying with Brendon Puckett for a couple of weeks, who is on state probation for sexual battery involving a minor. Puckett was charged with two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

When officers served the arrest warrants on Puckett this morning, Dyer County investigators discovered a third juvenile in Puckett’s residence. As a result, a third count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor has been added. The rescued juvenile will be released to his mother in Arkansas.
This case remains active, and investigators are thoroughly examining the circumstances surrounding these incidents. Additional charges may be forthcoming as this investigation unfolds.
Sheriff Jeff Box emphasized the severity of the situation, stating, “The safety and well-being of our children is our top priority and I am proud of my team. We are committed to protecting young people in our community, and these charges reflect our ongoing efforts to hold individuals accountable for their actions.”
Investigators acted quickly in locating the missing juveniles, demonstrating the dedication of the Dyer County Sheriff’s Office and the Criminal Investigation Division.
