App aims to provide support, strategies to reduce alcohol consumption
JACKSON, Tenn. — Drinking alcohol during the holiday season is more common than it can be during other times of the year.

There is an app called Reframe that hopes to help people who may be struggling.
This is for people who might want to quit entirely, or even just start to drink less.

According to the CDC, excessive alcohol use causes almost 200,000 deaths per year.
This app looks to provide education to anyone who wants it.

“Reframe is an app, but I think of it as more than just an app. It is a community built using neuroscience based evidence to transform people’s relationship with alcohol,” a representative said.
There are community meetings you can get involved with on this app as well.
