Jackson Fire holds breakfast to honor retirees

JACKSON, Tenn. — A local fire department honored men and women by having a retiree breakfast.

The Jackson Fire Department welcomed former employees for a breakfast.

They have been doing this event for three years.

Melissa Nelson with Jackson Fire says it’s great way for them to connect.

“It’s just a way for all of them the people who have served this community over the years to get together and visit with each other,” Nelson said.

Nelson also says it is a fun way to hear stories and honor the legacy of JFD.
