Chef shares tips for holiday meal planning

JACKSON, Tenn. — Instead of stressing over the holiday meal this season, one chef provides tips on how to stay stress-free while hosting.

Chef Jamie Gwen says it’s a good practice to do as much as you can in advance.

Try setting out platters now with Post It notes and mark where your dishes will be placed.

You can also lay out the table in advance and stock your pantry for all of your family’s needs.

“I happen to love an edible centerpiece, so without having to worry about adorning the table, I make sure that dessert is ready, and I use it as the centerpiece or the focal point of my table,” Gwen said.
