Youth Villages kicks off holiday foster care party
JACKSON, Tenn. — Earlier Thursday, Youth Villages in Jackson hosted a special holiday party for families in foster care programs.

The event is for all families who have adopted previously through Youth Villages and those who are current foster families in the program.

The event aims to celebrate the resilience and accomplishments of these families and young people, while creating a sense of community.
“We just want to have a celebration of families that are secure and we just want to have a good time, it’s about celebrating what we do in our homes that we have and our kids that we have,” said Donna Goodman with Youth Villages.
Youth Villages finalized 26 adoptions in West Tennessee and 83 across the state this past year, giving those children a forever home just in time for the holidays.
