Funeral arrangements announced for fallen Deputy Derrick Bonham

WEAKLEY CO., Tenn.— The Weakley County Sheriff’s Office has announced funeral arrangements for fallen officer, Deputy Derrick Bonham.

Funeral Arrangements Announced for Fallen Deputy Derrick Bonham

WEAKLEY COUNTY, TN – [January 31, 2026] – The Weakley County Sheriff’s Office has announced funeral arrangements for Deputy Derrick Bonham, Badge #615, who was killed in the line of duty on January 30, 2026.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026, in Greenfield, Tennessee.

Visitation and Memorial Service

• Visitation: Monday, February 2, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
• Memorial Service: Monday, February 2, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.

Williams Funeral Home has charge of funeral arrangements.

All flower arrangements and gifts for the Bonham family should be delivered directly to the Greenfield School Gymnasium on Monday morning prior to 9:00 a.m. Attendees are asked to dress appropriately, as very cold temperatures are expected throughout the day.

Media Advisory

Out of respect for Deputy Bonham’s family, no credentialed media, independent journalists, or social media influencers will be permitted inside the memorial service venue.

A media staging area and media conference will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 2, 2026, in front of Greenfield Banking Company. The privacy and dignity of our fallen hero and his grieving family remain the highest priority.

Procession and Interment

Following the memorial service, a law enforcement procession will escort Deputy Bonham to Highland Cemetery for interment with full law enforcement honors.

• Left on North Meridian Street
• Left on Highland Street
• Arrival at Highland Cemetery
