Humboldt City Schools presents Living History Museum of Black History
HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — Students of Humboldt Jr. Sr. High School presented a Living History Museum of Black History this week to recognize and pay tribute to the many outstanding men and women throughout Black History.
Director of Communications Ginger Carver says students worked for weeks to design backdrops ranging from the Renaissance Era to the Civil Rights Movement.
There were also live performances and impressions of historical figures such as Martin Luther King, Jr., Rosa Parks, Billy Holiday, and Dizzy Gillespie.
Art Students showcased their most recent project of Diddley Bows that are representative of the ingenuity of this era.
