Billy is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mary (Seguin) Tunis and Charles Tunis, and his paternal grandparents Gerleen (Buckley) Windsor and Billy F. Windsor Sr.
Billy is survived by his wife, Amy (Sinclair) Windsor, and children, Braden Windsor, Emma Windsor, and Lillie Windsor; his parents, Bill F. Windsor Jr. and Mary (Tunis) Windsor; and siblings, Sarah Windsor and Andy Windsor.
Billy was born on March 21, 1977, in Warren, Michigan to Bill and Mary Windsor. He spent his childhood visiting his grandfather’s farm, where he learned to hunt and fish. Time at home was spent affectionately antagonizing his siblings Sarah and Andy, with one particular instance ending in a broken collarbone for Andy. He enjoyed volunteering at Michigan Christian Youth Camp during the summers, where he met Amy Sinclair, and later wed her July 12, 2003, at Van Dyke Church of Christ at his birthplace of Warren. The young couple moved to Kissimmee, Florida for a job opportunity as a teacher and coach. They had their son, Braden Windsor, and firstborn daughter, Emma Windsor, before finally settling in Union City, Tennessee. He taught and coached football at Obion County Central High School, where he truly embodied the name that many know him by: Coach Windsor. Billy and Amy had their final child, Lillie Windsor, before Billy moved jobs to Lake County Middle School. There, he sculpted a great team and helped bring the middle school football team to the state championships. Later, he moved to Gibson County High School, and then West Carroll Special School District, where continued to teach and coach until his passing. Billy was a long time member of Exchange Street Church of Christ, where he was a deacon for the church. While he devoted much of his love to his family and football, he also enjoyed music, antiquing, wrestling, and card collecting.
