Police: Man accused of dousing girlfriend in gas, setting her on fire and riding away on bike
ROSEBORO, N.C. (WBTV/Gray News) – A man was arrested after he allegedly doused his girlfriend with gasoline and then set her on fire.

Franklin “Frankie” Paul Faircloth, 29, is accused of forcing his way into his girlfriend’s home around 10 p.m. Saturday.
The Sampson County Sheriff’s Office said Faircloth doused the woman and set her on fire before riding away on a bicycle.
He was found two days later in the woods about three miles from the woman’s home. He was arrested and taken to the Sampson County Jail.
Faircloth was charged with first-degree arson, attempted murder, first-degree burglary, assault causing serious bodily injury, and a misdemeanor domestic violence charge.
The woman sustained burns on two-thirds of her body, including both her arms and legs, and her chest and back.
She was taken to a trauma center for treatment.
