Pet Of The Week: Sampson
Sampson is ready to win you over—one kiss at a time!

Sampson is a 2–3-year-old mixed breed boy weighing about 50 pounds. At first, he might seem a little unsure in new situations, but give him a minute, and he’ll warm up lickety-split (literally—if he can reach your face, consider yourself kissed)!
And let’s talk about that coat 🤩—Sampson is stunning! His unique coloring looks like a work of art, with beautiful patterns that make him truly one of a kind. He’s the kind of dog people can’t help but stop and admire!
This handsome boy is all about fun and affection! He loves toys, can hear a treat bag rustle from a mile away, and is always ready to play! Sampson doesn’t just want to be near you—he wants to be on you, soaking up all the attention he can get!
Because of his enthusiastic love language (face kisses and full-body snuggles included), Sampson would do best in a home with older, taller, sturdy kids who can match his energy and affection.
Sampson is a blank slate, ready to learn! He’s looking for a family with dog experience to guide him as he builds skills. He can be a little hesitant on leash in the shelter, but in a calmer environment with consistency, he’ll likely gain confidence quickly. And while he enjoys being picked up…at around 50 pounds, it’s probably better to let him use those four legs.
Sampson will be neutered once his adoption application is approved.
