Funeral service for Katherine “Kat” Bond, age 83, will be Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 11:00 AM at East Jackson Church of Christ.  Entombment will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Bond died Sunday, April 19, 2026 at her residence.

Visitation for Mrs. Bond will be Friday, May 1, 2026 at Mercer Brothers Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until 3:30 PM.  Family Hour on Friday, May 1, 2026 at East Jackson Church of Christ from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Mrs. Bond will lie-in-state at East Jackson Church of Christ on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 10:00 AM until time of service.
