Green Frog Farm presents Spring Plow Day
ALAMO, Tenn.—One farm in Alamo invites the community to enjoy a unique downhome celebration.
Green Frog Farm hosted it’s Spring Plow Day from 9 until 3 Saturday afternoon.
The celebration took place at the farm located off Highway 412 between Jackson and Dyersburg.
The unique event brings together local farmers to recreate farming techniques from throughout history. Guests could view plowing demonstrations, enjoy an antique tractor show, or grab some BBQ from the West TN Smokers’ food truck.
Plow Day also included the grand opening of the new Harvest Farmstand Café. It offers farm-inspired menu items including sandwiches, soups, salads, breakfast items like cinnamon rolls, and even specialty coffee beverages. A farmstand will also be open alongside the café to purchase locally grown, fresh produce.
Donations of just $5 were requested to attend.
