Company to invest $4.8 million in Henry County
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A company founded in Paris, Tennessee is investing in its home county.

According to a news release, Columbiad Fabrication and Aviation, LLC is investing $4.8 million to purchase and relocate its operations from Paris to Puryear.
The release says this move will put all of their operations under one roof and create 144 new jobs.
“Columbiad’s decision to centralize all of its operations in Puryear is further proof that Henry County is an excellent place to do business. I appreciate this significant investment in our community and the job opportunities it will provide residents with as the company continues to grow,” said Rep. Bruce Griffey.

Columbiad started in a small home and is now expanding into a 40,000-square-foot facility. I am excited to see this expansion and more importantly the 144 employs they plan to add.
