Bar association to host free will, estate advice seminar
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – The Knoxville Bar Association is hosting a free will and estate advice seminar.
The Knoxville News Sentinel reports (http://bit.ly/1SijzgZ) the 19th annual LawTalk series will be held on Friday and Saturday in Knoxville.
According to the association, an estimated 70 percent of adults in the U.S. die without a will, leaving the state to decide how their assets will be divided and burdening loved ones with large legal costs.
The association is looking to combat the growing issue by hosting the seminar.
The free program consists of educational seminars designed to teach the public about the importance of ensuring future security for friends and loved ones through estate planning and administration.
