Police: $1200 in Christmas decorations taken from business

UNION CITY, Tenn.,–Union City police are investigating a theft of more than $1,000 of Christmas decorations. According to a police report, staff with Calla Lilly, a floral and home decor store, were moving the decorations from a storage unit in the back of the building into the retail space when the theft occurred. Staff told investigators the items were bagged up and left unattended for less than two hours when several of the bags disappeared . Taken items include wreaths, ornaments and garland. No suspects have been named at this time.
