Cause of death revealed after body was found in downtown building

JACKSON, Tenn. — Jackson police confirmed how a man found inside an abandoned downtown building died. Investigators said an autopsy by the state medical examiner’s office showed Kenneth McCalister, 53, died of an accidental cocaine overdose. McCalister’s body was found inside a building on West Main Street after he was reported missing 10 days earlier.
