South Gibson hires new softball head coach

MEDINA, Tenn. — South Gibson High School is bring a state championship coach to their dugout.

JCM Track and Field coach Scott Kee was named the Hornets new softball head coach in the school’s new release.

“We are excited to have Coach Kee at South Gibson,” said South Gibson Athletic Director, Mark Dunn in the news release. “His experience in a championship environment at JCM will help our softball program to continue to build into one of the top programs in West Tennessee. He has been a very positive addition to the SGC family.”

At JCM, Kee led the Cougars to eight state championships.

Kee, a UT-Martin graduate, is excited to join the Lady Hornets.

“I am very blessed to be given the opportunity to coach such wonderful girls and be involved in such a great program,” Kee said. “Our athletes are hungry for success which they present everyday with great attitudes no matter the challenge.”
