Weather Update 6:00 PM Monday
The showers and thunderstorms that pushed through West Tennessee this morning are well off to our east. High pressure is in the region to our southwest and will be moving into the area. West Tennessee will get the opportunity to dry out but the high pressure will also allow temperatures will fall to seasonal.
Tonight the gusty winds will begin to weaken and calm down overnight. Temps will fall into the 30s as the clouds start to clear out of the area. It will start to feel more like winter by the start of the new year.
Tomorrow highs will only reach into the low 50s with only a few lingering clouds. It will feel much cooler as temperatures begin trending downward this week. By Thursday afternoon highs will only reach into the mid 40s with overnight lows in the 20s. The seasonal temps for this time of year include highs around 48 degrees with lows around 29 degrees.
