WEATHER UPDATE: 10AM
Conditions across West Tennessee right now are quiet and clear. The temperature as of right now is 68° in Jackson and anywhere from the low 60s to upper 60s across the Volunteer State. Winds will pick up slightly, but for the most part, we will have bright sunshine all day long and temperatures reaching the low 80s.
Also, the UV Index is going to be quite high today. So if you have plans to be outside on this Saturday, make sure to grab some sunscreen.
Tonight we will see the quiet and clear conditions making it a perfect night for stargazing. It won’t be as chilly because thankfully the wind will calm down into the evening and into the morning you will be able to catch a gorgeous sunrise thanks to more clear skies at 5:56AM.
We will see clouds return by Sunday evening giving us a rain chance starting on Monday. Temperatures will stay in the low 80s to upper 70s the remainder of the week, but unfortunately we will have a chance for some rain or a thunderstorm all the way to Friday. However, we may get to see just a little bit of sunshine in the middle of the week. Stay with the VIPIR 7 Storm Team for the latest updates to the forecast!
