Weakley Co. man killed in weekend tractor accident

WEAKLEY COUNTY, Tenn. — A West Tennessee man was killed this weekend in a tractor accident near Pillowville.

Danny Anthony, 56, died Sunday when the tractor he was driving turned over on him, according to a release from the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies along with the Pillowville Fire Department and the McKenzie Ambulance Service responded to the 911 call about the accident in the 900 block of Seminary Road south of Pillowville.

Family members said Anthony had left home around 9 a.m. to clear some trees on the property and that they found him around 2 p.m., according to the release.
