RIFA reveals plans, featured performer for ‘Canstruction’ event

JACKSON, Tenn. — RIFA shared their plan’s Thursday for one of the year’s biggest constructions.

RIFA’s 12th annual “Canstruction” is set to take place Sept. 29 at the Carl Perkins Civic Center.

Grammy winner Michael Smith will serve as this year’s featured entertainer for the can-stacking fundraiser.

Teams of businesses, churches and schools will make giant sculptures entirely out of canned foods.
