Milan church serves free meal to local police
MILAN, Tenn. — A church in Milan offered a show of appreciation Friday for their men and women in blue — and what better way to show love than with food.
Members of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church dropped off a complimentary meal at the police department.
After a week of nationwide tension between the public and police, church members say they wanted to show they back the blue.
Members of the church also brought in breakfast to make sure officers on all shifts knew they were thinking of them.
