Weather Update: 9:00 PM Saturday
Things have quieted down across all of the area. All the lingering showers have diminished and we aren’t looking at the prospect for rain overnight. Current temps are in the upper 70s to mid 80s so it’s still very warm outside. Going into tomorrow, things will be quick to warm up and with the humidity in place it’s going be another steamy afternoon.
This evening should be a quiet and calm night. Passing clouds are at most what we’re expecting. The chance for showers diminish as we go into Sunday. It’ll be hot and humid again tomorrow with the chance for everyone to feel close to 100 degrees at times. Actual temps are expected to reach into the low 90s. Lots of sunshine is in store to end the weekend. Remember the sunblock and to stay hydrated!
Clear conditions take us into the start of the week with the heat on the rise. The most temperature outlook suggests that we’ll see temps above normal this week. Temps could reach into the upper 90s for parts of the area. Another feature we are watching in the forecast is the next chance for rain returning Tuesday. A weak cold front will approach and give us another chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms. We’ll be drying out by midweek from any rain we do see and temps start to climb by the end of the week into the weekend.
