Weather Update- 9AM
Current
In Jackson we are 77° with mostly cloudy skies. No one has reached the 80s yet, some of us will eventually, but the rain is going to definitely help to keep things somewhat cool for this Saturday. A cold front approaching the midsouth will bring another round of widespread showers and possible thunderstorms for most of us. As this shortwave approaches us it will help lower our humidity levels, cool things off, and switch the wind direction to come out of the north. All in all, it is going to be unseasonably “cool” starting tomorrow.
Overnight the rain showers should quiet down and taper off. Partly cloudy conditions will be left behind with it somewhat clearing out as high pressure builds into the south. Sunday is looking to turn out decent with the high only expected to reach the high 80s. Sunday will begin the cooling trend, but sadly it will only be lasting until midweek.
We’ll see those hot temperatures and the chance for rain return Wednesday with the chance lasting into the weekend.
If we can get past this gloomy Sunday we will have very pleasant conditions tomorrow lasting until Tuesday! Everyone have a great weekend and stay safe!
