Tree reservations open for TN Tree Day 2024
JACKSON, Tenn.— It’s time to reserve your trees!
The Tennessee Environmental Council says the time has come to start reserving trees in preparation for Tennessee Tree Day.
Tennessee Tree Day is an annual event where residents are asked to plant trees in an effort to replenish, and conserve natural resources.
Tennessee Tree Day is a statewide event where participants will plant trees on one special day.
This year’s event is the tenth annual Tree Day, and will take place on March 16, 2024.
It’s easy to reserve your trees. Participants just need to sign up here, choose a pick up location and select their trees to purchase.
Pick up locations are available in several counties all across the state.
A variety of trees are available for reservation and prices for these trees range from $0.99 up to $4.99.
Some of the trees available include, American Beautyberry, American Plum, Bald Cypress, Black Cherry, Eastern Redbud, Flowering Dogwood, Cherrybark Oak, White Oak, Willow Oak, Pecan, Persimmon, River Birch, Serviceberry, Shortleaf Pine, and Tulip Poplar.
