‘Winter Wonderland’ event coming to Jackson this weekend

JACKSON, Tenn. — With winter upon us, an upcoming event will help celebrate the season in the Hub City.

The City of Jackson, United Way of West Tennessee and Visit Jackson TN’s “Winter Wonderland” will be held this weekend near downtown Jackson.

Originally branded as the annual “Christmas in the City” event to take place back in December, the event was renamed and rescheduled due to weather.

The festivities will take place at the West Tennessee Farmers Market, at 91 New Market Street, on January 12 & 13.

Attendees can expect vendors, train rides, and a petting zoo, along with the main attraction: ice skating!

Skating will be $10 per person for a 30-minute session.

The event will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, and 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Saturday.
