Police Charge Man with Child Abuse

JACKSON, Tenn.- A Jackson man is jailed, charged with beating a 14-year-old boy then making him clean up his own blood. Christopher Brown, 30, surrendered to police Tuesday morning. He was wanted on charges of aggravated assault, child abuse and tampering with evidence. Investigators said around 10:30 p.m., Monday, Brown broke up a play fight between the 14-year-old and his 6-year-old son. Brown is accused of pushing, punching and choking the teen, then making him clean up. He will make his first court appearance, Wednesday morning.
