Family pays tribute to staff at Jackson hospital

JACKSON, Tenn. — One family hosts a ceremony to honor doctors and assistance services at Jackson General Hospital.

The Jackson General Hospital has a wall of butterflies dedicated to living and deceased children.

The butterflies have been donated to honor these children.

Dana Volner’s family donated money to this cause, and were able to purchase a plaque to honor doctor Keith Micetich, Doctor Nathan Hoeldtke, and Heaven’s Cradle who all helped her family.

Volner shared that it is important for families to know about this opportunity.

She also shared that the bereavement time offered assistance every step of the way to everyone in the family.

“I encourage everyone to go to the West Tennessee Healthcare website and research these foundations and support these teams, and to support these mommas and daddies and grandparents,” said Volner.

Her family also created the ‘Tuff Little Butterflies’ butterfly wall in memory of Lena Grace Pruett.
