Memphis College of Art Awards Scholarships to Jackson Area Students
MEMPHIS, Tenn. one space– Memphis College of Art, the region‘s only independent college of art and design, is pleased to announce scholarships awarded to incoming freshmen for the 2013-14 academic year. The awards are four-year scholarships based on merit, taking into consideration grades, test scores and portfolio. Scholarship students from the Jackson area include: one space· Jesse Lee, Liberty Technology Magnet High School, $65,500 one space· Shelby Moser, Madison Academic Magnet High School, $48,000 one space· Katherine Robertson, University School of Jackson, $56,000 one space· Katherine Tisdale, Liberty Technology Magnet High School, $70,500 Memphis College of Art provides a rigorous curriculum in an intimate, diverse community, empowering generations of leading artists, designers and educators to flourish professionally and contribute valuable ideas to society.
