Deadly Two Vehicle Crash Blocks Interstate 40 in Benton County
BREAKING NEWS: BENTON COUNTY, Tenn.-The Tennessee Highway Patrol along with surrounding law enforcement agencies are on the scene of a deadly two-vehicle crash on Interstate 40 near mile marker 125 in Benton County. According to investigators on the scene, a pickup truck and a personal use bus collided just after 10: 30 p.m., Friday, causing both to catch fire. The THP confirmed to WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News two fatalities, and the westbound lanes of I-40 remained blocked until around 3:30 a.m., Saturday ,while troopers work the scene. The victims have not yet been identified.
