Man Charged with Two Madison County Burglaires

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn.- Deputies have charged a suspect in two recent burglaries in north Madison County. According to investigators, a homeowner on Edgemont Cove received a call about a burglary in progress at his home, Tuesday. When he arrived, there was a car parked in his driveway with a TV and other property from his home inside the trunk and back seat. A short time later, deputies located a suspect hiding nearby under pine brush. Investigators said other items taken from a burglary on Morisch Road on August 30 were also recovered. Jamarcus Jamal McKinney, 20, was charged with two counts of aggravated burglary, two counts of theft of property over $500 and two counts of vandalism in the case.
