Teen killed in Henderson County wreck
HENDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. — A tragic wreck claimed the life of a West Tennessee teen over the weekend.
According to a preliminary report by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash occurred Sunday in Henderson County.
The report states that a Kenworth K270, driven by a 49-year-old Louisiana resident, was traveling on State Route 22.
According to the report, a Chevrolet Impala, driven by a 17-year-old, was crossing SR 22 from Center Hill Loop when the crash occurred in the roadway.
The report states that the Impala’s passenger, also a 17-year-old, was killed as a result of the crash.
The driver of the Kenworth and the driver of the Impala also received injuries, the report confirms.
According to the report, no charges have been filed in regards to the wreck.
