New venue, eatery aims to bring Nashville experience to West Tennessee
BETHEL SPRINGS, Tenn. — If you like line dancing and a live experience, Honky Tonk Hollar is the place to be.
Located at 628 McNairy Road in Bethel Springs, this venue is inspired by the honky tonks of Nashville’s Lower Broadway.
According to the owners, the art in the building recognizes one of Dolly Parton’s bosses, Robert Moore, a McNairy County native, who was the first to give her a job.
They serve a variety of comfort food, country music, and of course deliver a great time.
One of their biggest supporters, Billy Maness, tells us he’s proud of both owners for bringing joy to their small community.
“We have a live band here tonight, Derrick Brantley from the former band Buckshot Daisy is here, he’s gonna play,” said co-owner Dayna Patterson.
“Last weekend was our opening weekend. So, we’re just trying to do some fun things and invite the community to join in some fun family activities,” said co-owner Billy Patterson. “The best part of the experience I guess is just the live music and the dancing that we have seen go on.”
They’re open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 5-9 p.m.
