Pinson Mounds State Park prepares to host 42nd annual ArcheoFest

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — The 42nd annual ArcheoFest is almost here! The event will be held at Pinson Mounds State Archaeological Park in southern Madison County.

It’s set for September 21 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and September 22 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn about indigenous culture with vendors coming from all over the country.

There’ll be demonstrations, performers, food and drinks, archeology hayrides and more.

The family friendly event has something for everyone.

“Folks can come out and expect a lot of the things that we normally have that we offer for the event but we’re always working to try to add new and interesting things to the event,” said Tom Poole, park manager.
