Annual Chester County BBQ Festival returns to Henderson Sept. 27
HENDERSON, Tenn. — Prepare for music, food and family fun! The Chester County BBQ Festival is almost here.
Set for September 27-28, the event features, entertainment, food, activities, and vendors.
It’s the Henderson-Chester County Chamber of Commerce’s largest fundraising event and is made possible by a volunteer committee. Events center around the Chester County Courthouse lawn in downtown Henderson and there is no admission fee.
“Our signature event is our Tennessee Championship Hog Calling and so this is our second annual so it’s a $1,000 first prize, $500 for second, so we are the official state of Tennessee championship for hog calling,” said Blake Hooper, executive director for the Henderson-Chester County Chamber of Commerce.
The festival has been an annual tradition since 1978. For more information on this event, click here.
